In a flower-making mood

I have been in a flower-making mood... or more correctly, inspired to make flowers out of this corrugated paper that I found... anyhow, I love how they turned out on this layout.
The paper is from last year's Fall Stack and the Crossword is from Sassafras (I think I need to order more, now...) The chipboard is from Colo0rbok & Heidi Swapp (letters). And I got this pack of dimensional butterfly stickers at Michael's today and this one just matched so well I had to use it!

Here's the sketch I drew up for it...

As promised

I finally made my digi-layout of "Slide" a reality... Unfortunately, the colors on paper and scanned in are just not as vibrant. And, I have yet to find anywhere to order the Sassafras flowers that I am REALLY WANTING that I used in the digi version. It's still pretty cute, though!

Two in Two days!

I had a bit of inspiration yesterday, so I thought I would share!
This sketch was done for an 8x8 page with 2x3 sized photos, but could easily be adapted to another size. Instead of using a patterned paper as the background, I stamped using an Autumn Leaves swirl stamp in black ink and lavender ink.The flowers I used are some that I bought at Michael's and Target and painted with opaque pearlescent ceramic paint. I used Prima Whispers angel wings as well. The title and butterflies were cut with my Cricut Storybook Cartridge.

Back in the Saddle Again

I know I haven't been posting much lately, but I have some sudden sketch inspirations! I will be sharing them as often as I can... here's a 2-pager that I just finished with. I have had a couple requests to list the materials I am using so i will try to do that from now on... For this one, I used papers from Miss Elizabeth's, Provo Craft and one miscellaneous one that I have no idea who made it (that would be the polka-dot one. The Snowflake ribbon is from Michael's. For the stars, I fussy cut the Miss Elizabeth's paper scraps that I used in the background layers. The title is Cricut cartridge "Opposites Attract" and the Heart is a Cricut shape from George. I glitter glued the edges of the "Melt".

Anyhow, here's my sketch...

And the Layout I used it on...
